Our department is uniquely poised to offer assistance and advice to the UCLA community on administrative issues. Many of our senior staff have more than 25 years of UCLA experience and have developed a comprehensive understanding of UCLA’s operational processes. We consider management to have subject matter expertise. Our knowledge is in internal control. We are available to lend guidance, assist with communication/connecting appropriate parties, and facilitate discussion for problem solving.
Services provided include:
- “Ask the Auditor” – telephone consultation when you don’t know who to ask.
- “Accountability Training” for Chief Administrative Officers and Departmental Security Administrators to orient them to the business environment here at UCLA.
- Customized training for departments, with an emphasis on accountability and internal control.
- Consultation on system access security and use of the Distributed Administrative Computing Security System/Post Authorization Notification (DACSS/PAN) system.
